this is not a performance issue, this is about to update openvswitch which is not available anymore on sles 15 sp5. we provide now openvswithc3 packages and therefore zypper_call failed.

We need find a solution for update test or drop this since ovs_server and ovs_client get tested from now.

  • Subject changed from [qem][qe-core][qe-tools]test fails in ovs_server, some performance issue with worker8? to [qem][qe-core][qe-tools] fix issue with openvwitch3 packages for update test as well

well I checked this again and found the reason for this failure:

LEGACY_TEST_ISSUES; 28842,28867,28873,28894 and their related Legacy repos don't contain openvwitch packages at all. I search in all repos as well, no update packages for openvswitch are available.

So set it is repo issue, however my PR can fix this issue in upcoming update, I hope.

Hello, Zaoliang,

The failure on qem test should not caused by openvswitch3 at the time I filed the ticket, please see:

http://openqa.suse.de/tests/11053305#dependencies [WORKER_CLASS qemu_x86_64,tap,platform_amd]

The test can pass on another AMD worker. So please double check if worker8 has some performance issue.

for me this is clearly an issue of repository, see https://openqa.suse.de/tests/11052998#step/ovs_server/15
'zypper refresh' is not finished so that the required packages can be found. From the logs we can assume at moment there is something wrong with repository or we have sporadic network issue. zypper_call returns error code this is clearly to understand.

I clone the job and it works, so this is a network issue:
