Description

Observation

Selecting a different timeframe in
http://monitor.qa.suse.de/d/WebuiDb?orgId=1&viewPanel=84
can cause the panel to take very long to render. Likely we have too much data to process which can also cause further problems, maybe also the problem of some data gaps?

Acceptance criteria

  • AC1: Selecting a data period of 7 days in grafana shows results within a reasonable time

Suggestions

  • Look into the data source, maybe we can configure the apache logs to save less columns that we are not interested in or exclude some URL patterns that we don't care about. Maybe collect at lower interval?
