Description

Motivation

We came up with a disaster recovery setup based on semi-automated steps within #98472. Now we should make it easier and automate

Acceptance criteria

  • AC1: An automatically created openQA infrastructure exists providing near-complete replication of any existing instance
  • AC2: The infrastructure is able to execute scheduled openQA tests (with reduced performance)
  • AC3: Emergency recovery guidelines exist how to recreate the setup based on easy and automated steps

Suggestions

  • Use terraform

Out of scope

  • Recreating all former test results (subset ok)
  • "Exotic" worker infrastructure, e.g. no powerVM, s390x z/VM, hyperv, vmware is needed
