Description

Why does it ALWAYS mess up during a fresh install when I go to something
that requires keys and I have to choose a wallet and it doesn't pick one
automatically that makes sense and is easy to setup?  Do you WANT people
frustrated who don't know anything about computers?  I first installed
linux in 1991 (Slackware via diskettes).  I KNOW something about
computers. This has been a problem for a DECADE.  Why do you not fix?
Do you HATE the end users that use your products?

What is the idea behind offering less and less in the repositories?  I
notice several key elements missing on each new distro version for
OpenSuSE.  Simple tiny little things like KDE Same Game or not including
BSD Games by default. Not having any MUD client installed by default.
Some of us have been using SuSE for Decades.  SuSE Enterprise, SuSE for
desktops, OpenSuSE etc. We EXPECT these things to be included and
working.  Should we all switch to Gentoo? or  Debian or Arch? or some
other all inclusive distribution that doesn't block our ability to do
things like run AALIB utilities on the fly or access the source code for
command line boggle at a whim.  You aren't making your distro more trim
and fit, you are making it more like Microsoft or IOS or Android. Is
THAT your goal.

Tell us now so that I can tell the world.  I will SHOUT it from the
mountain tops.

Hi Kendall,

admin@o.o is the entry point for a ticketing system, for the openSUSE infrastructure. For support questions, we have plethora of mailing lists, forums and other channels, I suggest your question is best addressed to one of those.

I think you DO want your users to go somewhere else.  I think you DO want to be more like Microsoft, iOS, Android.
I think I must shout from mountain tops.
Thank you,
Kendall

Kendall, we are merely a group of volunteers that look after the openSUSE infrastructure, we do not in any way represent openSUSE.
By all means, go shout whatever you want, just not here. I gave you suggestions of better venues earlier today.

Agreed.  Writing a book called "Contra SuSE", starting a youtube channel "Do NOT use SuSE... better to use Win11 or iOS... at least you are getting what you expect"
