Observation¶

ping  openqaw9-hyperv.qa.suse.de
PING flexo.qa.suse.de (10.162.2.106) 56(84) bytes of data.

It is said that the machine moved before.
Please help to re-start it(maybe power off now), it's QE2 hyperv2012 test machine, used for sle15 sp5 test.

The system has not moved for multiple years. The racktables entry is https://racktables.nue.suse.com/index.php?object_id=1160&page=object&tab=default. There should be a management interface but I could not find information how to reach it on https://racktables.nue.suse.com/index.php?object_id=1160&page=object&tab=default nor https://gitlab.suse.de/openqa/salt-pillars-openqa/-/blob/master/openqa/workerconf.sls nor https://gitlab.suse.de/qa-sle/qanet-configs/ which only mention flexo.qa.suse.de and openqaw9-hyperv.qa.suse.de but no DNS entries or related for the management interface. I will try the remote controllable power supply.

Simply powering off and on again over the http://qaps10nue.qa.suse.de/home.htm does not make the machine pingable. With neither the switch port nor the L2 address for the management interface in https://racktables.nue.suse.com/index.php?object_id=1160&page=object&tab=default I guess we need physical access to find the management interface details and power on the machine again.

The power cable to the machine was loose. I connected the cable and ensured the machine is on. I could login over ssh. I also connected a network cable from qanet13nue:13 to what looks like a BMC port that nsinger insist wouldn't exist ;)
