https://github.com/openSUSE/searchPage/pull/15 is the submission, we also need a checklist item to "remove translations from SVN", i'm still working on getting access to do that.

The process look more complicated here.
The GIT repository contains only generated json files. But these are generated from LCN using searchPage/assets/js/langpack/update_lcn.rb.
Weblate is capable to translate json files directly, but there is missing a template file for new translations.
The processing generates json files with a subset of strings. This is something that cannot be used as a base for translations in Weblate (it.json contains less strings than others).

When the pull request is merged there will be po and pot files just like with the main web page.

Since Cynthia didn't respond I've merged the pull request myself. The translations are in git as po files now.
