Observation/Motivation¶

The PackageKit test for plasma (updates_packagekit_kde) doesn't have a defined state for the "installing updates" phase but instead checks for all other phases. This sometimes fails because the needles for the updates_availables_tray tag can match during the installation phase.

Acceptance criteria¶

• AC1 Make the test recognize the "Installing updates" phase of the process and not skip it
  

Suggestions¶

• Add a tag and matching needles that will keep the test in the "Installing updates" phase.

The problem happens very often and can block the release of Leap updates.
