Workaround:

  • login to the wiki (en.opensuse.org or your local wiki)
  • then go to forums.opensuse.org, and you'll be logged in

There was also an interesting report on the support ML - I'm not sure how monitor.o.o would be related to the forums, but maybe it gives someone a useful hint:

I'm trying login forums.opensuse.org as usual, but it takes too long time, without login successfully. From chrome DevTools, in console, it says:
(https://forums.opensuse.org/ICSLogin/auth-up)

Access to manifest at 'https://monitor.opensuse.org/manifest.json' from origin 'https://forums.opensuse.org' has been blocked by CORS policy:
No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource.
