T02 Refactorize openQA to work with PNG (Go/No go)¶

Status of current stage¶

This initial stage was done as planed without remarkable issues. We used the previous openCV integration to replace the PPM format with PNG. The replacement is not full yet, but it is in all the relevant parts of the code. The remaining parts are not critical or dead code that we need to identify and remove.

Also, in this stage we remove the dependency for ffmpeg2theora, using png2thedora and a glue script to create the installation video.

Notes

1. This task created a set of another task no tracked in Chili, related to “T07. Create a package for openCV and openQA”. We removed ffmpeg2theora but we need packages for openCV and this new tool for SLE.
