## Observation
openQA test in scenario sle-12-SP2-Desktop-DVD-Updates-x86_64-qam-regression-documentation@64bit fails in
[gedit_save](https://openqa.suse.de/tests/792156/modules/gedit_save/steps/7)
Also this test **gedit_save** failed 10 times in the past two months for Maintenance - for different reasons though.
## Reproducible
Fails since (at least) Build [20170301-1](https://openqa.suse.de/tests/791956)
The test fails to correctly type the whole string:
<<< testapi::type_string(string='This file is opened, edited and saved by openQA!', max_interval=250, wait_screen_changes=0)
but it typed just the last 3 characters:
QA!
as a result, the needle match failed.
## Expected result
Last good: [20170228-6](https://openqa.suse.de/tests/791729) (or more recent)
