Thorsten checked on a SLE15 medium: appdata.xml.gz was registered in repomd.xml (which is good) - the appdata.xml.gz was empty though (not so good)

Thorsten checked that for us on the SLE Media, that already uses the new prod builder: appdata.xml.gz is registered there (marking 50% done, needs verification on TW)

Checked Leap 15.0 repodata: $HASH-appdata.xml.gz IS registered in repomd.xml, but apparently the corresponsindg appdata-icons.tar.gz is missing
