New welcome to edge consists of 4 different needles. We could try to disable it in autounnatend xml
or maybe another option could to switch desktops with ctrl+win+left key and move on from there.

I don't know where the welcome_to_wsl window is now.

welcome_to_wsl tag is not popping because the test is not able to start WSL firstboot before welcome_to_MS_edge pops up.

  • Status changed from New to Resolved

looks like Microsoft removed Welcome_to_MS_Edge popups again, so the problem fixed itself.

Welcome to MS Edge is back. Will continue working on disabling the window.
