Description

A missing piece of the Tumbleweed tests is to test the tumbleweed image that is about to be released. We need to create a new test run that does this.

Currently we have test runs for BCI and for the container hosts (i.e. container engines). Those rely always on just one subject under test. This means that the container host tests use the already released tumbleweed image and this should stay this way. However this imposes the risk, that we release a broken tumbleweed image, as it happened in https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1239211.

We should add a new test run based on container_host_podman_selinux that tests the new Tumbleweed snapshot.

Acceptance criteria

  • AC1 In Tumbleweed there is a new test run that uses the existing test modules to test the new Tumbleweed snapshot.
