Description
The default setting in NM is automatic DHCP.
Steps:
- open Network in gnome Settings.
- Config the Wired connection:
Select ""IPv4"" bar, if the ""Address"" is not ""Automatic (DHCP)"", set it to DHCP, then apply it.
Expected Result: vp2. Should get IP, netmask, gateway, dns settings from the DHCP server. Should access the network. Check it by pinging a ip/site, surfing some sites.
Note:
You can check the /var/log/NetworkManager file, it contains logs about
fail, connected, dhcp address/prefix/hostname/nameserver and so on.
