When authenticated, calling up the URL
https://src.opensuse.org/org/create yields HTTP error 500 without
further explanation.

Hi,

you are not allowed to create an organization. This is to avoid spam.
Please open an issue with Gitea, if you think it should be more human-friendly: https://github.com/go-gitea/gitea/issues/new/choose

Please let me know what organization you're trying to create.
