Description

Hi, I hope it's OK to open issues here as a mere end-user.

Firstly, thank you for dealing with the outage today!

When it first started, I checked status.opensuse.org, which started loading OK. However, it wouldn't load completely. Looking in the HTML, I saw a few references to static.opensuse.org, and it looked like that site was timing out. I blocked that site using uBlock and status.opensuse.org then would load OK.

Anyway, my point is, when the dust has settled, do you want to look into making sure status.opensuse.org works standalone, when it really needs to?

Thanks for reading, and I hope you all get a rest :)

Hi,

thanks for tracking it. I had already commented out the static.o.o assets earlier to make the page load without having to wait for timeouts from static.o.o. We should copy the needed files into the local webroot.
