Description

Motivation

There is DHCP/DNS config in https://gitlab.suse.de/OPS-Service/salt/ for redcurrant-{1..12}, e.g. as visible in pillar/domain/oqa_prg2_suse_org/hosts.yaml . Also https://powerhmc1.oqa.prg2.suse.org/dashboard/#resources/systems/27f9e332-acfc-3d1a-8d88-5b8cba2d3241/logical-partitions shows that we have 12 LPARs.
https://gitlab.suse.de/openqa/salt-pillars-openqa/-/blob/master/openqa/workerconf.sls however only lists 8 LPARs. I guess we should use all 4 instances.

Acceptance criteria

  • AC1: All 12 LPAR instances of redcurrant are successfully used in openQA tests

Suggestions

  • Add temporary non-production worker classes covering redcurrant-{9..12}
  • Deploy
  • Trigger openQA tests
  • Fix
  • Mark as production-ready
  • Monitor impact in production
