Description
Bug 743548 requests to enable WYSIWYG Editor through MediaWiki.
The wiki should have a WYSIWYG Editor.
tinyMCE can be enabled on MediaWiki. It can also be extended to offer templates.
The current editor features only a source code view, and a very limited markup support.
Typical editing requires multiple Preview-Edit cycles until the results come out as intended. E.g. I myself often need a few attempts to get link target and link labels in the right order with the right seperator in between.

This is something that has to wait for the wiki move and upgrade.
Also, I'm not sure if a WYSIWYG editor makes sense - but that's something we can decide when all the other wiki stuff is done.
Fun fact: I'm also admin of two wikis for professional gardeners and winegrowers (which typically are far from being computer experts), and they decided against using a WYSISWG editor. Therefore I'm a bit surprised that we get such a request in a "technical" project ;-)
