You need to add the machine to AD domain first.
Steps:

s1. Start ""Windows Domain Membership"" Yast module
s2. Verify that the machine is in the domain
s3. Enable ""Offline Authentication""
s4. Click ""Finish""
s5. Login in at least once online to cache credentials and then log out.
s6. Disconnect the network (you can plug out the network cable)
s7. Try login without network using the same user as STEP 5.
