You need to add the machine to AD domain first.

s1. Login with an Active Directory user account
s2. Add a printer which is shared by another domain member
s3. Open a test file with gedit
s4. Print the file with the shared printer

[actual test steps]:

1. join in the AD domain
2. shared a printer from windows server on which AD server is running
3. open CUPS from linux client to add the shared printer
4. test print function

printer shared from another linux client which has joined the AD domain, could be added to the linux client, well test print not work well, error log could refer to /var/log/cups/error.log
