Description
Prepare:
- Start the cups service via: systemctl start cups.service
- Come to Yast2-->Printer
- Click "Add" button to Add New Printer Configuration interface.
- Click Connection Wizard.
- Choose a connection type and edit the informations like URL,manufacturer.
- Select a driver for that printer and click OK
Tip:
add AP-450 printer in Beijing R&D area:
- Come to Yast2 -> Printer
- Click "Add" button to Add New Printer Configuration interface.
- Click Connection Wizard.
- Choose Specify Arbitrary Device URI
- Type "socket://147.2.207.33" in Host, choose Fujitsu ,then click Forward
- Select "Fujitsu PrintPartner 20W Foomatic/pxlmono (recommended)" in "Model" list.
