1. open Network in gnome Settings.

2. Config the Wired connection:

Select "IPv4" bar then select "Manual" in the "Address" drop-down list.

1. Set the "Address", "Netmask", "Gateway" and "DNS Server" properly, then click "Apply".

(The DNS server can be found using command cat /etc/resolv.conf. Anyone in the list can be used)

1. Restart the network (Turn off the Wired and then turn on).

vp4 The ip address should be the same as you set. Command "ip ad" You can access the network successfully. (ping a site and use browser to surf some sites)

Note:
You can check the /var/log/NetworkManager file, it contains logs about fail, connected, dhcp address/prefix/hostname/nameserver and so on.
