I made the mistake to ensure that the old Leap 15.3 is still installed but we also have the newer Leap 15.5 kernel which apparently makes our network cards disappear so
zypper rl kernel* kernel-default
zypper rm -u kernel-default-base-5.14.21-150500.55.28.1.150500.6.11.2.ppc64le kernel-default-optional-5.14.21-150500.55.28.1.ppc64le kernel-default-extra-5.14.21-150500.55.28.1.ppc64le
zypper al -m "poo#119008, kernel regression boo#1202138" kernel*
