Description

Steps:

  1. start lowriter
  2. open "Tools/Options.../Libreoffice Writer/Mail Merge E-mail"
  3. set "Your Name", e.g. Johny Tester
  4. set "E-mail address", e.g. test@suse.com
  5. set "Server name", e.g. smtp.novell.com port:26
  6. Set "Server Authentication" with normal username and password.
  7. press the button [Test Settings...]

vp 7. It should successfully establish network connection and find outgoing mail server. If it still does not work, the pyuno bridge might be broken and you should report bug.

If it does not work, you might need to update the "Mail Merge E-mail" setting. You should set it similar like your normal mail client.
