Both of which are currently at 4.4.1; the current (stable) version is - according to gradle.org - is
https://services.gradle.org/distributions/gradle-8.1-bin.zip
(which clearly is several major releases behind - will try to use the current version)

I forgot to mention in the issue description that there's also:
https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/Java:packages/gradle-bootstrap-maker
(Will probably contact fstrba in order to find out why there's a "bootstrap for the bootsrap" package, as this is not obvious to me)
