I'm reported as maintainer of the test because years ago it was the best practice for the developer to be also the maintainer. But I haven't looked at the code since I first developed it, so it might take a while before I'm able to fix it.

That job group is no longer being used, and in the new one Thunderbird is not being executed due to another unrelated bug.
But the test seems green though: https://openqa.suse.de/tests/8208242#step/thunderbird_install/1
Closing the bug for now.
