Description

Observation

openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-JeOS-for-kvm-and-xen-x86_64-jeos-ltp-commands@uefi_virtio-2G fails in
install_ltp

This is while testing snapshot 0621, where efivar was rebuild and got version 37-5.1.
The last snapshot published, 0620, contains efivar 37-4.5

libefivar1 is pre-installed as a dependency of various tools (efibootmgr, mokutil). later on, the test wants to install efivar, but that fails, as it wants to install the old version from the published snapshot.

Before installing anything from repositories, it needs to be ensured that the repositories are switched to the snapshot-to-be-tested, otherwise we only test what was already published, which is too late to find errors.

Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build 20210621 (current job)

Expected result

Last good: 20210620 (or more recent)

Further details

Always latest result in this scenario: latest

For some reason all of the jeos-ltp testsuites had CLEAR_REPOS=1 to explicitly opt out of repo replacement. I removed that and it appears to work fine.
