Hello,

It seems that all yandex.ru mirrors are listed by the old IP addresses
and not active anymore.

Could you please replace them with mirror.yandex.ru by domain name or
by new IPs?
Also, could you please increase their priority? Yandex is the largest
Russian Internet company, many ISP in Moscow region have dedicated
links to their data centres.

I checked the mirror database and stage access.

in the mirror database we have host mirror.yandex.ru
IP via DNS are
mirror.yandex.ru has address 213.180.204.183
mirror.yandex.ru has IPv6 address 2a02:6b8::183

in the Stage access there is a allow only the chine sower.yandex.ru
IP via DNS:
sower.yandex.ru has address 213.180.204.242

I want to clarify that host names / IP address first.

Please let me know if sower.yandex.ru should be replace by mirror.yandex.ru

in the mirror database we have host mirror.yandex.ru
IP via DNS are
mirror.yandex.ru has address 213.180.204.183
mirror.yandex.ru has IPv6 address 2a02:6b8::183

The same for me here:
mirror.yandex.ru has address 213.180.204.183
mirror.yandex.ru has IPv6 address 2a02:6b8::183

There is up-to-date openSUSE mirror located here:
http://mirror.yandex.ru/opensuse/

I want to clarify that host names / IP address first.

Please let me know if sower.yandex.ru should be replace by mirror.yandex.ru

My friend from RedHat contacted Yandex guys: they say sower.yandex.ru
does not exists anymore and should be replaced by mirror.yandex.ru

Also note, that my initial issue is that the four following lines are
listed by dead IP addresses at the site http://mirrors.opensuse.org/

Issue here that mirror.tspu.ru is located in Tomsk that is almost 3000
km far from me: https://yandex.ru/maps/-/CVTmUSmi

I don't think mirrorbrain has the ability to prioritise mirrors within a country, not even within a continent.
My location is Switzerland, I am often given mirrors in Cyprus, Britain and Denmark.

There is already one. It is called mirror.yandex.ru and located in the
same city as me.

ATM on the http://mirrors.opensuse.org/ there is the mirror mirror.yandex.ru marked as
fully working.

Please try download some ISOs or RPM
for example via it: http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/leap/42.2/iso/openSUSE-Leap-42.2-DVD-x86_64.iso?mirrorlist
and let me know if its working for you.
