I have just realized that the website with bugs@lists.opensuse.org contains https links for bugzilla.suse.com, while for bugzilla.opensuse.org it only has http.

The assignee is bogus - the SUSE infrastructure team only maintains the infrastructure Bugzilla is hosted on, not the Bugzilla application itself. I suggest you open a bug in Bugzilla itself - select the "opensuse.org" component and "Bugzilla" product. Good luck.
