The opensuse-buildservice+subscribe@opensuse.org address is listed in
the left hand Actions bot on this page
https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-buildservice/ along with other
options that most likely don't work too.

It's buildservice-subscribe@lists.opensuse.org
and you should use https://lists.opensuse.org/archives/list/buildservice@lists.opensuse.org/ instead of https://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-buildservice/ (since that one doesn't work anymore)

Yes, we are aware of this issue, those archive pages have to be rebuilt.

Is there a source for that archive builder? Seems worthy to be
submitted upstream https://gitlab.com/mailman/hyperkitty/-/issues/335

There is a source (mhonarc), but it's our internal templates that need updating.

I have done a mass-edit on the old archives, specifically on the index.cgi files. I'll update the post mortem ticket #77701 with the results.

There are a lot of old references in message footers, like in

Agreed, and I'm afraid we won't get rid of all the existing links to the old unsubscribe etc. addresses - which also means we should handle them in some way.
Per, I know you are not the biggest fan on this, but I'm afraid we'll need to handle the old subscribe, unsubscribe etc. addresses in some way - either forward them to the new addresses, or at least let them bounce with a useful error message. (Personally, I'd vote for forwarding to the new addresses - same amount of work to setup, but users are more happy ;-)

The unsubscribe is already being redirected (for about a month), which takes care of all the footers in the archives. Bouncing with a standard message ("please refer to webpage") should be easy to do.

Now bouncing mlmmj-style subscribes with a referral to this page - which is in need of some TLC:

We don't have a lot of these, maybe one or two a day. Will check back after Christmas.

Sorry, my mistake, the correct address is "buildservice-subscribe@lists.opensuse.org", we dropped the opensuse prefix when we change to mailman3.
