closedmirror.de.leaseweb.net is unresponsive
0%
Description
when osc selects the mirror in subject the download of packages
takes ages, it seems to wait several minutes after each individual
(fast) downloads. So maybe there's a connection limit in place.
Please remove or deprioritize this mirror.
Thanks,
Richard.

It looks like this is due to mirror.de.leaseweb.net not responding on ipv6 - there will then be a timeout before any client reverts to ipv4. I'll get in touch with leaseweb.

Hi Richard,
I can reach it with both ipv4 and ipv6, so I guess it is fixed now.
Side note:
download.opensuse.org can now accept new get parameters:
- IPV4 - use only mirrors that can support IPv4
- IPV6 - use only mirrors that can support IPv6
- IPV - use only mirrors that can support the same protocol which is used in the client's request.
E.g. commands below show that ~23 TW mirrors don't support ipv6:
> curl -s https://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/repodata/repomd.xml.mirrorlist?IPV4 | wc -l
234
> curl -s https://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/repodata/repomd.xml.mirrorlist?IPV6 | wc -l
211
> curl -s6 https://mirrorcache.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/repodata/repomd.xml.mirrorlist?IPV | wc -l
211
> curl -s4 https://mirrorcache.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/repodata/repomd.xml.mirrorlist?IPV | wc -l
234
It looks we might teach osc to use that parameter when needed - could you please open a request in osc or please provide more details about the error you received when using osc, so I will try to open it.
