Description
Acceptance criteria¶
- AC1: kdump_and_crash runs on s390x KVM with at least 2GB memory
- AC2: extra_tests_textmode runs on s390x KVM with 1GB memory
Suggestions¶
kdump_and_crash already runs with 4GB of memory on aarch64, ppc64le, s390x KVM and x86_64
- https://openqa.suse.de/tests/overview?arch=&machine=&modules=kdump_and_crash&build=205.1&distri=sle&groupid=110&version=15-SP2
- kudmp_and_crash can be removed from
extra_tests_textmode
.
Observation¶
kdump initrd is bigger than expected and 1GB memory is not enough for s390x KVM: https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1169881
openQA test in scenario sle-15-SP2-Online-s390x-extra_tests_textmode@s390x-kvm-sle12 fails in
