Description

Observation

openQA test in scenario sle-15-SP2-Online-ppc64le-allpatterns@ppc64le fails in
user_settings

Test suite description

Maintainers: okurz Installation with all patterns selected for installation to check for potential package conflicts, how the system handles big space usage, etc.

allpatterns installations can take longer, especially on non-x86_64 architectures.

Suggestions

  • run cracklib-dict in other architectures (preferably as an openQA test module)
  • note the average time in few test runs per architecture
  • compare with other code stream (Leap/Tumbleweed) in the same architecture
  • Report a product bug if there's a huge difference (which likely there is)

Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build 104.1 (current job)

Expected result

Last good: 101.1 (or more recent)

Further details

Always latest result in this scenario: latest

I have opened https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/9138 as a result of this, but I think we'd need to give in a closer look.

I don't see how this product bug can be worked around.
