Description

Observation

Somehow after starting the job, the backend failed to destroy the openQA-SUT-3:

[2019-10-19T21:05:01.738 CEST] [debug] <<< backend::svirt::run_cmd(Net::SSH2=SCALAR(0x55d5dab9b758)='virsh  destroy openQA-SUT-3 |& grep -v "\\(failed to get domain\\|Domain not found\\)"')
[2019-10-19T21:05:01.899 CEST] [debug] Command's stdout:
error: Failed to destroy domain openQA-SUT-3
error: internal error: Failed to destroy domain '3676'

which resulted later in:

[2019-10-19T21:05:02.116 CEST] [debug] Command's stdout:
error: Failed to undefine domain openQA-SUT-3
error: Requested operation is not valid: cannot undefine transient domain

[2019-10-19T21:05:02.116 CEST] [debug] Command executed: 'virsh undefine --snapshots-metadata openQA-SUT-3 |& grep -v "\(failed to get domain\|Domain not found\)"', ret=0

This is an autogenerated message for openQA integration by the openqa_review script:

This bug is still referenced in a failing openQA test: lvm+RAID1@svirt-xen-hvm
https://openqa.suse.de/tests/4086816

To prevent further reminder comments one of the following options should be followed:

  1. The test scenario is fixed by applying the bug fix to the tested product or the test is adjusted
  2. The openQA job group is moved to "Released"
  3. The label in the openQA scenario is removed

  • Subject changed from [xen] test fails in bootloader_svirt - error: Requested operation is not valid: cannot undefine transient domain to [xen][u] test fails in bootloader_svirt - error: Requested operation is not valid: cannot undefine transient domain
  • Assignee set to szarate
  • Start date deleted (2019-10-21)

Adding to u backlog, however assigning to myself right away, I guess nobody else is interested into looking at this
