Description

Observation

It looks like something is wrong with the way the disk is created, the other tests depending on it are are also failing in the same way more than 50% of times: https://openqa.suse.de/tests/3413352#dependencies.

openQA test in scenario sle-12-SP5-Server-DVD-aarch64-minimal+base+sdk+proxy_SCC-postreg@aarch64 fails in
boot_to_desktop

Acceptance criteria

  • AC: There is a test suite extra_tests_minimal_base_sdk in the functional job group that depends on create_hdd_minimal_base+sdk

Tasks

  1. Investigate why the dependencies are not able to boot the qcow2 image.
  2. Create a test suite extra_tests_minimal_base_sdk.
  3. Fix the test or create a proper product bug.

Test suite description

Maintainer: okurz

Install base+minimal unregistered but enable the system and add SDK after installation using proxy-SCC. Can be used as an image generation job for downstream scenarios when modules should not / can not be added during installation. See https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/19862 for details.

Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build 0339 (current job)

Expected result

Last good: 0333 (or more recent)
