Observation¶
Packages for SLE-12-SP5 fail to build:
https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor/devel:openQA:SLE-12?arch_x86_64=1&defaults=0&repo_SLE_12_SP5=1&unresolvable=1
Main candidate that causes downstream problems is "rubygem-rb-inotify" which could never built for SLE-12-SP5. The package is unresolvable in https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/devel:openQA:SLE-12/rubygem-rb-inotify as the package linked from openSUSE:Factory requires a more recent ruby

I can think of the following:
- Not provide any packages anymore for SLE-12
- Link a more recent ruby version into devel:openQA:SLE-12
- Backport rubygem-rb-notify
- Link an oldver version of the package, e.g. https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/openSUSE:Leap:42.3/rubygem-rb-inotify/rubygem-rb-inotify.spec?expand=1

cool, thx. I can see on https://build.opensuse.org/project/monitor/devel:openQA:SLE-12?blocked=0&building=0&dispatching=0&finished=0&scheduled=0&signing=0&succeeded=0 that "opencv" and "ffmpeg" fail on SLE12SP5 but not on older projects. Ideas?
