Description
Since monitor.o.o was upgraded to Leap 15 (BTW: why 15.0 and not 15.1?), our IRC bot was broken.
The update replaced Supybot with its successor python2-limnoria. However, that doesn't include the files in /usr/bin/ which of course let any start attemps fail with "file not found".
When I noticed this, I installed python3-limnoria which is the python3 variant of the bot, and added a few missing options to the config file - now it starts again, and we have at least our channel log working again.
Unfortunately notifications from the monitoring are still broken. The most obvious problem is that the files in supybot-notify were packaged into python2 directories, but even after fixing this *) notifications still don't work. Can someone[tm] please find out why the notifications don't work? Hint: /root/bin/send_irc_message also doesn't work, so the problem is obviously somewhere in the IRC bot.
