- Subject changed from test fails in updates_packagekit_gpk as unexepected authentication password menu to [functional][u][opensuse] test fails in updates_packagekit_gpk as unexepected authentication password menu
- Priority changed from Normal to High
I would say that it is a product bug, but it needs to be investigated.
It is maybe related to the previous module, which is adding repositories. Some background task may have caused the conflict (PackageKit?)

Even if I do not know if "normal" to have this authentication screen present here,
I have provided a new PR https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/7436
to handle its presence in ensure_unlocked_desktop.
This is sufficient to have related test module to pass with no error.

The last reported jobid#1004153 (20190810) differ from original failure by the text of authentication:
"Authentication is required to modify a system repository"
This disappeared on next 20191027 (no run between 20190810 & 20191027 snapshots)
Now back with 20200108 ,seems to be a transient screen for same updates_packagekit_gpk ! disappeared if manual re-run:
20200108:
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1138534 failed
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1139741 passed
20200111:
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1141787 failed
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1142269 passed
20200114:
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1144841 failed
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1144978 failed
But also one occurence on another x11_setup module for 20200108:
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1138394#step/x11_setup/9
I could add a new needle with same old tag "authentication-required-user-settings" to handle the new authentication text
"Authentication is required to modify a system repository"

- yesterday new hit with TW 20200218 https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/1180366#step/updates_packagekit_gpk/6
- so add workaround needle and wait for new occurrence of transient failure to use it. https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-needles-opensuse/commit/9a8f1d3d2f79691f3f07e7d006692824d8331e33

"Authentication is required to modify a system repository"
you could. Functionally it will not make a difference. However in #63394 with https://github.com/os-autoinst/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/pull/9543 I added a new, more generic tag "authentication-required-modify-system" that I recommend to be used.

To prevent further reminder comments one of the following options should be followed:
- The test scenario is fixed by applying the bug fix to the tested product or the test is adjusted
- The openQA job group is moved to "Released"
- The label in the openQA scenario is removed
