bypass is to add MAX_JOB_TIME=9000 for minimalx test.

Yes the workaround is already implemented in o3,
and https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/latest?machine=ppc64le&version=Tumbleweed&test=minimalx&distri=opensuse&arch=ppc64le&flavor=NET still reports a test that last 2h08 >2h

ok, so what would you prefer or recommend:
- Keep the updated MAX_JOB_TIME per test suite and call it "fixed" and close the ticket as resolved?
- Set a higher MAX_JOB_TIME on the machine or medium because our power8 machine within o3 is not the fastest?
- Propose a patch to update the MAX_JOB_TIME default in openQA itself?
- Split the test flow to conduct less test modules per scenario?
- Something different? :)

With our previous enhancements, e.g. in the pattern selection, tests take less time, e.g. last failing job https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/854602 took 1:29 h so already an improvement. Failed jobs should also take less long. The scenario also has a higher time limit now. Because there was no response for the past months so I am calling it resolved on my own now :)
