Description

https://openqa.opensuse.org/admin/workers and https://build.opensuse.org/monitor might be a starting point to collect high level information about the currently active workers.

But we might also want to get a bit more information from them like "file system fill levels, hardware health, ...".

While parsing the web pages above might be an initial starting point, we should investigate if and how we can automate the detailed monitoring (maybe based on the results from the web pages?).

@Michel or Richard: do you know if there is a more machine friendly format of https://openqa.opensuse.org/admin/workers available ? (YAML or JSON?)

  1. Richard is not really in charge here, as he is now doing cubic stuff mostly
  2. Issues of openQA (as feature requests) are tracked in their queue of progress... so i went there and opened an issue against openQA after checking the code: https://progress.opensuse.org/issues/26842 << see here
  3. Releasing this ticket from Richard, giving it back to Lars ... Lars please pull the information from the feature request, as soon as it's done, you can go on.

Cheers,
Thorsten
