You are probably already aware but there is an issue with
software.opensuse.org: I visit https://software.opensuse.org/search and it
directs me back to the default page.

I haven't seen it, and honestly I can't reproduce the issue. /search shows me the correct page and I can even search for packages. Any more hints you could give me please? Eg try with curl and give me the output?
