needle needs to show gnome selected, meaning with a green background.
Delete old wrong needle ("gnome-selected-20170906")
The Menu should be selected properly

After removing the needle, the test module change_desktop seems to work.
Old failure not seen yet.

Waiting for other jobs to finish before concluding that the old failure is not reproducible anymore.
