Can you please enable Email Archive for the mirror@opensuse.org mailing

Thanks in advance,
Lars

I am reopening the ticket, it doesn't seem to work. It shows an htlist with the description.txt only

Yes, nothing seems to be being archived. The archive user is subscribed and the list is included in the index.

I think the problem is probably lack of permissions - /srv/www/htdocs/mirror/ was owned by root:root, but the archive script is run from cron with user "archive". I assume that is also why there are no archived mails - they couldn't be delivered to a mailbox.

Updating the permissions to archive:archive helped, the mailboxes are now being updated, but I cannot figure out how "index.cgi" ic created/copied into /srv/www/htdocs/ .

Apparently, "index.cgi" is created by the make-ml script, I cannot see why that didn't work for the mirror list.

The archive is now working: https://lists.opensuse.org/mirror/

The mlmmj archive has messages dating back to 2008, I am wondering if it is possible to have them archived properly too.

Reopening for a small issue - http://lists.opensuse.org/mirror/2017-04/ lists two "[no subject], Unknown" mails.

The mbox file starts with two "From foo@bar" lines which might explain this. They look like leftovers from some testing:

From foo@bar Thu Apr 13 15:02:47 2017

From foo@bar Thu Apr 13 15:02:47 2017

From Lars.Vogdt@suse.com Thu Apr 13 15:02:47 2017
X-Original-To: mirror@lists5-opensuse.suse.de
Delivered-To: mirror@lists5-opensuse.suse.de
[...]

If it isn't too much work, can you please fix this and re-create the archive for April 2017?

Weird, but many of the archives have those two extra emails. I missed that, must be something in my script.

Okay, should be fixed now, for all mirror archives.
