Description
Hi!
I had written an article to opensuse.org (link:
https://pt.opensuse.org/ARTIGOS:Problema_de_conex%C3%A3o_usando_o_protocolo_TLS#Listando_as_cifras_locais_que_podem_ser_utilizadas_com_o_comando_openssl
)
when I tried to access an URL that doesn't exists. So I received an error
message from the server but, I think that the Apache's default error page
doesn't configured.
The evidence:

This is a great website and I hope this may help you!

Hmm, I don't see an obvious error on the page you linked (without actually understanding Polish), and I can't find a link to www.o.o/dicas from your screenshot. So - do you remember what you clicked to get to www.o.o/dicas?
That said - www.o.o indeed seems to have a misconfiguration in the ErrorDocument settings - it can't find the 404 page, so we should either fix that or remove the ErrorDocument directive from the apache config so that it uses the default 404 page.

Hi!
Thank you for your attention!
I didn't click anywhere to access the address www.opensuse.org/dicas. I had
typed this address directly in my browser.
I was worried by see the 404 page with informations about apache and I
tried to report this possible misconfiguration.
Best regards,
Fernando Galves

Hi!
I tried to access a page that does not exists in the domain
www.opensuse.org/XXXX and I received an apache's error page (404), that
follow:
Not Found
The requested URL /DICAS was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an
ErrorDocument to handle the request.¶
Apache/2.2.12 (Linux/SUSE) Server at www.opensuse.org Port 80
In this page, we can see the apache's version, the operating system, the
port that is used, etc
So I think the directive ErrorDocument could be misconfigured for the page
not found (404).
Thank you for your reply!
Best regards,
Fernando

pt.opensuse.org isn't www.opensuse.org.
pt.opensuse.org is a wiki like en.opensuse.org.
www.opensuse.org is a additional web application with our main page.
What was your problem?
Updated by galves.fernando@gmail.com about 7 years ago
Hi AdaLovelace, how is it going?
Thank you for reply
I am trying to say that the ErrorDocument directive is misconfigured and I
think it could be a security problem.

This ticket is confusing, so I understand why you managed to confuse Sarah ;-)
@Sarah: I already adjusted the subject,so it is probably the least confusing part ;-)
To make it clear: https://www.opensuse.org/does_not_exist.html shows a 404 page (of course), but that page contains
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
which means the Apache ErrorDocument is misconfigured. This is not a security problem, it "only" looks silly.
