Description

For publishing interviews with openSUSE people I would like to request the sub
domain people.opensuse.org.

The content is hosted on GitHub pages right now
(http://opensuse.github.io/people). Instructions for how to make this work
with custom domains can be found at https://help.github.com/articles/setting-up-a-custom-subdomain/

I'm happy to see that the interview series continues :-)

However - what's the reason for "hiding" it on a separate subdomain instead of publishing the interviews on news.opensuse.org?

The interviews will be announced on news.opensuse.org, but the content is
hosted on an own site. Makes it easier to manage it and provides a canonical
place for the archives.

Is there any update on this? Can I do anything to make this progress?

Well if you want a canonical place which also includes all the older people of opensuse interviews then just using news.opensuse.org would be the easiest solution without any external services. which also saves us the trouble if people come and ask for SSL support for that site. (and yes we get requests that we should use SSL for every service)

Is there any update here? As far as I can tell the domain is not available
yet.
