So what's the preferred method to mirror TW? rsync.opensuse.org which appears a month out of date.

It seems the rsync mirror that I am redirected to by rsync.opensuse.org has outdated files in debug and source repos.

Seems like a couple things should be done.

• wiki page updated
  • no longer mention drpmsync
  • provide example of syncing just Tumbleweed
• outdated/partial mirrors either purged or handled in some way

I can make wiki edits assuming that is agreeable.

I waited a few days after @darix noted in IRC that sync jobs were stuck, but it seems the same old kernel persists.

i just noticed you have been talking about debug and not the normal distro repository.

snyc completed.

I tried it again today and the debug repo grep for kernel looks good, but source is still outdated (even more so).

How are these all out of sync and seemingly separate sync jobs? The mirror I found that works unfortunately updates too slowly to get a whole snapshot before the next is released. Are the mirrors I can access all starting from stage.opensuse.org instead or rsync.opensuse.org? Given the age of some of the source rpms this has gone unnoticed for quite some time.

Is there any chance I could get temporary access to stage.opensuse.org for testing my tumbleweed snapshot prototype which depends on retrieving a full snapshot before the next is released?

Seems to be stuck on the main Tumbleweed repo now.
