Description
We just had a case where a maintainer / user created a delete request on:
openSUSE:Factory wxWidgets-wxcontainer24c
This package though is a linked package (subpackage) of wxWidgets - and if it shall be removed, the .spec file in wxWidgets needs to be removed.
We have nothing in the chain that detected this error - which results in incompletely linked packages in the end.
I'd say factory-auto is in the best situation to detect this. The easiest probably checking if the target package has a devel package inside openSUSE:Factory instead of any other devel project - giving an indication that this is a package for special treatment and can't be handled in normal workflows.
