Description

Observation

openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-JeOS-for-RPi-aarch64-jeos@RPi3 fails in
firstrun

Since snapshot 20221223 (20221219 was good), the default password (linux) is too short for firstboot which exits because password is shorter than 8 characters.

Test suite description

Maintainer: fvogt, mnowak

Start JeOS from the HDD image, configure it using the firstboot wizard and then run basic tests. console=tty0 added as needed for aarch64.

Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build 20221024

Expected result

Last good: (unknown) (or more recent)

Further details

Always latest result in this scenario: latest

It is not trivial to fix since in lib/susedistribution.pm ssh consoles are set with password => $testapi::password which at 1st boot should be linux, but then can/should be set to anything else, such as nots3cr3t.

Skipping the wifi configuration part seems to workaround the issue: https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/3008872
So, it might be an issue with the WiFi config?
