<ul></ul><p>I just found the config file for the interface had been changed somehow to 'dot not boot automatically' I guess.</p>
<p>I changed it back to<br>
BOOTPROTO='dhcp'<br>
STARTMODE='auto'</p>
<p>Now p3p1 is up and running.</p>

<ul></ul><p>We just crosschecked <a href="https://racktables.nue.suse.com/index.php?page=object&tab=ports&object_id=16390" class="external">https://racktables.nue.suse.com/index.php?page=object&tab=ports&object_id=16390</a> and found that the documentation covers this properly. Two interfaces are connected. For the next time like the tool <code>ethtool</code> can be of help to find out if there is a physical connection detected.</p>
