Description

Observation

openQA test in scenario opensuse-Tumbleweed-DVD-x86_64-desktopapps-gnome@64bit fails in
change_password

The UI changed slightly for GNOME 42; we should verify if the test only needs new needles or if we need to adjust the code as well (on first sight it seems needles are not enough)

Test suite description

Reproducible

Fails since (at least) Build 20220323

Expected result

Last good: 20220322 (or more recent)

Further details

Always latest result in this scenario: latest

There's a product bug reported about change password failure on GNOME42.
https://bugzilla.suse.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1198235

We need to adjust the change_password test case to adapt the new UI after the bug got resolved.
Possible fix can be found: https://github.com/GraceWang571/os-autoinst-distri-opensuse/tree/gnome42

This is an autogenerated message for openQA integration by the openqa_review script:

This bug is still referenced in a failing openQA test: desktopapps-gnome
https://openqa.opensuse.org/tests/2309739#step/change_password/1

To prevent further reminder comments one of the following options should be followed:

  1. The test scenario is fixed by applying the bug fix to the tested product or the test is adjusted
  2. The openQA job group is moved to "Released" or "EOL" (End-of-Life)
  3. The bugref in the openQA scenario is removed or replaced, e.g. label:wontfix:boo1234

Expect the next reminder at the earliest in 28 days if nothing changes in this ticket.
